My Random Fandom Musings


I'm from the UK, female and in my mid (to late, but shush!) twenties. I pretty much post about my three favourite things – Downton Abbey, Thor and The Hunger Games and just a warning, there will be spoilers for those on the blog.

I'm a very big fan of Downton Abbey and ship Mary/Matthew very, very hard! It’s the TV show that first got me into fandoms and fanfiction and Tumblr too!

I also really loved the Thor film from last year and cannot wait til I get to see the Avengers next week. I’m quite a hardcore Sif/Loki shipper too – what can I say, I thought they had some epic chemistry in the film!

My most recent fandom is the Hunger Games. I finally got around to reading the trilogy the other month and quickly became absolutely addicted! I think it’s amazing and ship Katniss/Peeta so, so hard! I loved the film too and am slowly trying to convert everyone I know to fans! ;-)

Other things I like are Harry Potter, Jane Austen, Friends, the BBC shows Merlin and Dr Who and Once Upon a Time. I like most period dramas, Disney films and James Bond films.

The Wrong Prince - Chapter 11 A Sif/Loki fanfiction Summary - Sif has never done what everyone expects of her, so why should they be surprised when she chooses the wrong prince? An adventure story about how Loki and Sif came to elope. Rating - Teenage Setting - Post Thor and Avengers movie (though I started writing this long before I ever got to see the Avengers Assemble.) This chapter is one I think many of the readers have been looking forward to for a while! I won’t say any more, other than I hope you enjoy reading it. For some blatant self advertisting, here’s some reviews I received for the last chapter, chapter 10: Um…WOW. I discovered this fic last night and stayed up way too late, but I was hooked. Honestly, I’d never thought of Loki/Sif before,but this is verrrrry interesting. :) You’ve done a marvelous job and I love your detailed descriptions of everything - so vivid!
